well, i can't really post about the summer before we came to the USA because most of those pictures are back on our computer IN shanghai. so this will have to do.
we had some fun before we left, taking advantage of the not too terrible temps. we went to the bird and insect market. that was a great day. a great spot in shanghai if you are ever there. i have loads of pictures to post from there, but that will have to wait until after august 22nd. which is really too bad, since it is ten million times easier to post in the states than behind the great firewall of china :(
we spent our last few days packing for our sojourn to the States. oliver tried to be helpful, but ended up really playing with most of the stuff. he loved "packing" the many pirated dvds that we brought back for people, most especially Harry Potter, for "Unka Kelby."
clarke's schedule calmed down a little bit right before we left, so oliver was actually awake some nights when clarke came home. oli would like to go down the elevator and meet daddy at the entrance to our building. we would wait and wait, and then see daddy zipping down the walkway on his scooter. then daddy would take oli on a ride around the complex for a bit. he LOVES this. on this particular day, clarke was actually letting oliver pull the throttle back! oli felt very powerful. i felt very nervous :)
It is so fun seeing pictures of your little man. He looks so grown up. I love it - and want to see more pictures - especially with your awesome parents. ;0) Hope you are having a great time at home with the fam.
